I believe that the new beat creation and manipulation tool "TRANSFUSER" that Digidesign recently released is a MUST HAVE for remixers and beat producers!!

You can choose the scissors tool in Logic Pro 7/8 and add the cut manually, or you can just hold down the OPTION key, and create multiple cuts at once!! In this next image you can see that we held down the OPTION and clicked on bar 5, since this is a 16 bar loop we instantly divided this 16 bar loop into four 4 bar regions!! Next we clicked ...
