Region Slicing in Logic Pro 7 and 8
Sometimes while remixing a tune, you need to slice up your audio regions into smaller regions to manipulate them in a musical way.
You can choose the scissors tool in Logic Pro 7/8 and add the cut manually,
or you can just hold down the OPTION key, and create multiple cuts at once!!

In this next image you can see that we held down the OPTION and clicked on bar 5, since this is a 16 bar loop we instantly divided this 16 bar loop into four 4 bar regions!!

Next we clicked on the downbeat of bar 2 still holding the option key with the scissors tool, and created 16 one-bar slices!!

Now go out there and cut up some loops!! Rearrange them, and breathe new life into old loops,
REMIX EVERYTHING!!!
